ICP Group operating in a consortium with IT.event organized the 3rd Congress of Polish Education for the Ministry of National Education and the Educational Research Institute.
The event was held on the 29th-30th of August in the International Conference Centre in Katowice and was attended by 1,100 participants.
The Congress, opened by the Minister of Education, Joanna Kluzik-Rostkowska, gathered many reputable speakers. Among them were special guests: professor Phillip Zimbardo - one of the most famous psychologists in the world, encouraging to revolutionize Polish education system, and Carl Honoré, international ambassador of the “slow movement”. During numerous lectures and debates, participants had the opportunity to discuss the challenges of education in the twenty-first century, the directions in which educational institutions should evolve and methods of education and upbringing of future generations.
Nearly 40 lectures and debates took place during the 2-day Congress, 109 speakers presented their panels, among the guests were 4 foreign moderators, 26 VIP guests, as well as 30 exhibitors who had an opportunity to present their offer. Three large exhibition halls and a number of conference rooms were arranged. The team of Poland Concept DMC - structure operating within the ICP Group, was responsible for the organization of the event. Its responsibilities included registration of participants, speakers and moderators, management of the reception and exhibition spaces, production of conference materials, transport and accommodation of participants. Technical issues like IT solutions and equipment rental, as well as on-line transmission of the Congress, were provided by the consortium leader. The seamless collaboration of ICP Group and IT.event - production team consisted of nearly 200 people - has resulted in the perfect realization of Congress in only three weeks’ time and allowed creation of an appropriate ambiance for discussion on education development in Poland.
